JB BAHN Layouts (English)

There are quite many layouts for BAHN. So it is impossible to make a complete archive. Some layouts can be loaded from this site. You will find much more layouts in the Internet:

in the Archive of BAHN layouts

(more than 1400 layouts from all over the world)

and at several websites from the links list.

If you want to publish your own layouts, please ask directly at the Archive of BAHN layouts.

When a layout exists in multiple versions for different BAHN versions, then try to load the version suitable for your BAHN. If such a version does not exist, then please try the next older version of the layout.

Mostly, newer BAHN versions can load layouts created by earlier versions. However, that doesn't work vice versa.

The layout data format of different releases of the same BAHN version is identical (e.g. BAHN 3.85r1 and r2). However, mostly the newer releases contain more vehicles. On opening a layout and missing vehicles needed for the layout, BAHN displays so-called substitute data instead (since BAHN 3.83).

Loading layouts created by older versions into BAHN 3.84 or BAHN 3.85 may need manual corrections, especially at tunnel lines. For details see the "layouts.txt" file that is included in the software distribution.

to the BAHN-Netz-Archiv (layout archive)

There is no warantee for the contents of netfiles. The most files have not been created by me, see the author's data in each case. The few netfiles made by my own will be changed sometimes, but not regularly (e.g. updating of schedules).

The archive will be resorted sometimes. Then older files will be replaced by updates and some files can be deleted, too.

If you like to send me any layout file, then please note the comments below the mail address. However, for publishing layouts, the BAHN-Netze-Archiv is the better place. Everybody can publish layouts there, also as a guest.
